Tax Cuts & Jobs Act Stirring Confusion Nationwide

Tax season is upon us and as businesses wrap up their finances from 2017 and send in those tax forms, there is one topic that keeps resounding loudly in everyone’s minds. On December 22nd, 2017, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was signed into law.  Even though the IRS provided a handy online calculator to see how your finances would be affected, business owners are still left with quite a bit of confusion.

Small Business owners in Fairfield County have been reacting favorably to the new tax law and some of you may have already noticed a difference in your paychecks. Whether negative or positive, it is important to educate yourself on the new tax laws and consult your accountant.
