Disaster Recovery (DR) Replication

TNS can provide every aspect of your BC and DR services needs. From initial planning of your first DR plan to an assessment of your current plan we have the experts available to help develop the actions you need to take to assure your business can continue operations. We can even locate your DR operations at our state of the art recovery centers in New York or Connecticut. TNS can provide you just the space and environment or we can fully manage and monitor your DR infrastructure. TNS state-of-the-art operation centers total more than 80,000 square feet of space. The centers have achieved TruSecure Service Provider Certification and SAS 70 Certification-evidence that our operational processes and controls meet superior standards of security, reliability and availability. We are also proud to be a member of the Cisco Powered Network Program.

"Hot Site"

TNS dedicated "hot" site rapid recovery supports uninterruptible and instantaneous retrieval of mission-critical data in case of an emergency. The hot site alternate environment is a dedicated, mirrored, synchronized copy of mission-critical data and infrastructure. The environment is always on, ready, and available for failover to use as a primary site.

"Warm Site"

The dedicated "warm site" solution is suitable for applications and data that can accept several hours for the disaster recovery process to complete. Typically, the warm site includes backup equipment that is up and running non-mission critical applications, which can then be halted to make way for critical applications.

"Cold Site"

"Cold" sites have lost their popularity due to the drastic reduction in cost to replicate data and applications in a real-time fashion. These sites would typically host equipment of a predetermined amount and type, which would be "waiting" to go into operation in the event of an outage. The upfront cost, aging hardware, need to modify contracts consistently, and, most important, the lengthy time to return to operations (RTO) are all contributing factors to the decline of this popularity. However, in the event that there are business reasons to host a cold site, TNS can ensure that you have the required infrastructure to support your operations. We provide secure data center space and the necessary power and bandwidth to accept equipment that is shipped to us or to bring up systems already stored at the cold site. Once your operating environment is rebuilt, TNS provides the network and telephony to support your business.

Email Rapid Recovery

The Email Rapid Recovery solution provides email communication continuity under any circumstances in a secure, high-availability backup environment. This ensures ongoing email communication with customers, employees, vendors and other key groups and can be an attractive intermediate DR solution.

Work Area Recovery

TNS offers companies the ability to locate critical staff to an area within one of our operations centers in the event of an emergency at your primary facility. The Work Area Recovery space can accommodate a variety of different business needs, including standard workstations, trading floor seats, conference rooms and general office space.

Work Area Recovery is available on a dedicated or shared basis. A dedicated seat is always available to your company's employees and can house pre-configured desktop computers. Dedicated space arrangements require no declaration fee and offer unlimited testing of the facility and the recovery process at any time.

Telephony and Network Recovery

Telephony and Network Recovery solutions ensure that your backup and recovery environment includes all the telephony and network components required to run your operations. TNS offers an array of services ready for activation, including telephone lines, local and long-distance options, voice mail, 800-number switching, fax lines, and bandwidth connectivity.
