Server Replication

TNS offers three forms of server-based replication: Physical-to-Physical (P2P), Physical-to-Virtual (P2V), and Virtual-to-Virtual (V2V).

  • Physical-to-Physical — Non-virtualized (each server is a separate physical entity) systems replicating with other non-virtualized systems at a remote location.
  • Physical-to-Virtual — Non-virtualized systems replicating with analogous virtual systems at a remote location.
  • Virtual-to-Virtual — Virtualized systems replicating with other virtual systems at a remote location.

To reduce costs associated with the hardware footprint in the remote location, clients often opt to virtualize some or all of their disaster recovery-related servers. Through the use of VMware, TNS offers several flexible configurations that can accommodate your most unique needs.
