Business Continuity Assessment (BCA)
TNS' BCA analyzes the financial and operational impact of a major business disruption on the business. The BCA also assesses potential risks to the business and identifies risk reduction initiatives that will minimize or prevent business disruptions. The BCA is the first and most critical stage of successful business continuity planning. The information included in the BCA is used throughout the business continuity planning lifecycle to ensure that all planning initiatives are cost-effective and aligned with actual business requirements.
The BCA includes the following deliverables:
- Business Impact Analysis - Critical business processes and recovery time frames
- Risk Assessment - Potential risks, level of threat, and vulnerability
Business Continuity Design (BCD)
The BCD defines a recovery strategy that will cost-effectively restore business services to minimum required levels within the time frames as defined in the BCA.
Based upon the requirements defined in the BCA, the BCD defines appropriate recovery options, provides a cost/benefit analysis of these options, recommends risk reduction initiatives that will reduce the cost of recovery options, and reduce recovery time. TNS takes people, process, and technology into account in developing this plan.
Knowledge Transfer
A priority of each and every TNS engagement is the success of the client. In order to achieve success, it is important that the client's staff understands and feels comfortable with the implemented solutions. TNS staff works alongside the client's staff during all facets of the engagement. The result is a level of knowledge unattainable by reading manuals or attending classes. Through this mentoring approach, TNS maximizes the knowledge transfer process and how it applies to their unique environment.
Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan Implementation
Using the results of the BCD, our BC/DR implementation services can assist you in overseeing deployment and yearly testing of your BC and DR plans. TNS offers a SAS 70, Tier 1 recovery center with co-location or fully managed BC/DR services.
